Tana Whitt is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vérité Health Collective, a strategic consulting firm dedicated to advancing scalable, evidence-based systems of care across healthcare systems, including post-acute, acute, and outpatient settings. A board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and nationally recognized healthcare executive, Tana previously served as Chief Operating Officer for a large national behavioral health organization operating in over 600 nursing facilities and 200 hospitals across 35 states. In that role, she led enterprise-wide initiatives in clinical redesign, care integration, and system transformation.
Tana currently serves on the Clinical Practice Committee for the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine Association (PALTMed) and is the former Vice Chair of its Behavioral Health Committee. In these roles, she has contributed to national guidance, education, and strategic advancement of behavioral health in long-term care. She is also an active member of the American Health Care Association (AHCA), Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Psychiatric Association (APA), and the American Nurses Association (ANA), where she champions interdisciplinary collaboration, workforce development, and mental health equity.
